Open Arms Residential Services, LLC functions to provide guidance, protection, education and life skills to teens in the foster care system. The vision of Open Arms Residential Services, LLC is to implement a foundation of skills that enable our clients to successfully transition to a more stable and self-sufficient lifestyle after leaving foster care. This will subsequently lead to the development of positive, productive members of the community at-large.
The programs conducted by Open Arms Residential Services, LLC are delivered in a home-like atmosphere. This component of service-delivery provides a comfortable transition for youth to reach their maximum potential while in the program. Participants in the program are taught life skills that are critical to the success of living independently. The program encourages the participants to constantly practice these skills until they are mastered. The model of care implemented in the program helps the youth realistically understand the impact that making decisions and choices has on the consequences and rewards they will receive in life. We believe that all youth are capable of success with the proper support, education, and ability to express individuality.
